A Chaotic Playground Where You Are The Director
Boxteria puts the power to stage battles entirely in your hands. Throw 30 bandits, a zombie horde, and a police unit into Red Square to start a conflict as you imagine. Equip the green Spawner by scrolling your mouse wheel, enter the creative menu with TAB, and choose any character class. Left-click on the ground to spawn them, repeating the process as often as you like. Once everything is set up, press V to trigger the battle. Instantly, everything you’ve spawned rushes at one another, colliding and tumbling with satisfying ragdoll physics. A rocket launcher allows you to watch from a distance, while a genuine weapon allows you to get into the action. Want to see the action in slow motion? Press T to activate Slow-Mo and savor the sight of bodies flying through the air. There are no limits on numbers and no fixed rules for winning or losing. It all depends on your imagination and the level of chaos you wish to create.
Three Stages Built For Explosive Action
Each map is handcrafted with a single goal: to generate maximum chaos. Red Square offers a spacious environment filled with cover, rooftops, ramps, and all manner of explosive elements. Russian Village and Courtyard follow the same design philosophy—abundant cover, climbable rooftops, ramps for gaining speed, and countless destructible objects. Towering beige apartment blocks, punctuated by rows of rectangular dark windows, stand tall behind lines of pointed green trees. In a unique setting, rows of characters clad in mustard-yellow uniforms with red epaulettes stand before a massive, light-brown skull. Ambushes on high ground and brawls in wide spaces make the terrain visually spectacular and tactically complex. Every map is ready to become a battlefield tailored exactly to your preferences.
Intuitive Controls You Can Master In Seconds
Boxteria also allows for detailed environmental manipulation. Use WASD to move or drive, the mouse to look and aim, and the left mouse button to fire or spawn items. Scroll the mouse wheel to switch between the blue spawner and actual weapons. Press R to reload, SPACE to jump or drift-brake, and E to enter or exit vehicles. TAB opens the creative menu, V triggers combat, and T activates slow-mo. When holding the Spawner or an object, hold E and move the mouse to rotate. Use R to raise, F to lower, G to push away, B to pull closer, Q to freeze in place, and X to delete. On mobile and tablet, use the left joystick to move and the right side to aim, alongside virtual buttons for shooting, jumping, spawning, and entering vehicles.
