There is no need to wait until October 31st for Mini Turbo Karts: Halloween to start. New racetracks debut each morning from mid-October till Halloween.
There are nineteen tracks in total, with a new course unlocking each day. Choose one of five costumes, hop into your kart, and race three laps against four opponents dressed as monsters. You can revisit previous days whenever you like. Future dates remain locked on the calendar. Each day's goal is simple: finish first to complete that tile. The difficulty gradually increases as the event progresses. Later tracks become far less forgiving than the opening races. The calendar does more than count the days. It records your completed challenges, personal bests, and unlocked achievements. This overview helps you track your progress throughout the nearly three-week event. Each day also brings a unique challenge. You might need to perform a certain number of mini-turbos, tricks, or item pickups. There are thirty-eight achievements to collect in total. The five characters differ only in appearance. Everyone drives the same type of kart, with no performance advantages. Victory belongs to those who master drifting, time their items wisely, and avoid pumpkins scattered across the track.
Drifting remains your main way to gain speed. Hold and release at the right moment to trigger a mini-turbo. If you maintain your drift while airborne, you can perform a trick and gain an even stronger boost. Launching at the right moment before the light turns green also provides a starting turbo. Surprise boxes appear along the track, containing turbo boosts, triple turbos, oil, rockets, or stars. Your opponents can collect them too. Each box disappears as soon as someone picks it up. Pumpkins and spiderwebs scattered across the track can slow your kart down. However, some pumpkins can be smashed to gain momentum or simply enjoy the satisfying impact.
